Unser Debut / DIE TÖDLICHE DORIS

I wondered whether it was appropriate to categorize DIE TÖDLICHE DORIS (Doris) as noise, but because it’s so experimental, I decided to include it.
Of all Doris albums, this one is my favorite because it’s full of weird songs, but of course their other works have a lot of weird songs as well.
They weren’t active for very long, but when this album was released on vinyl in Japan I was surprised and bought it straight away.
At the time, Der Plan and DAF were popular as part of the German New Wave, and Doris was treated as one of them.
Both bands had completely different styles, but they were sold as the same thing.
Doris was particularly unique among them, but I still think it was well-released.
