I think the greatness of the Incapacitants lies in their unwavering consistency.
They’re all about white noise, and Mr. Mikawa and Mr. Kosakai have been doing it for decades.
They’ve been active since long before I started listening to noise, and they’re still blasting out noise to this day.
I used to go to Incapacitants’ live shows a lot in the early 1990s, and from what I can see on YouTube, they’re still the same today, with Mr. Mikawa roaring as if he’s having a convulsion and Mr. Kosakai carrying a menacing presence.
And above all, there’s a mass of noise that surges over you, as if it’s pleading with your whole body.
I’ve gone to their live houses many times just to experience this feeling.
I hope they continue like this forever.
