Brighter Death Now (BDN) is the flagship artist of the famous Swedish label Cold Meat Industry (CMI).
This album is a dark ambient work from before they moved towards power electronics.
CMI was originally a label known for its dark ambient releases, and has produced many highly polished works, of which BDN’s works are one.
The first time I saw them live was in 2002, when they had already moved towards power electronics.
While BDN’s power electronics work is good, this album is hands down their representative work from this dark ambient period.
